Gospel Singer Bahati: I Forgot Protocol When I unseated the President

Gospel singer Bahati admits to have forgotten protocol during his performance at the Jubilee Party launch where he went ahead to sit on President Uhuru Kenyatta’s chair.
Bahati’s unprecedented stunt during the event at Kasarani Stadium on Saturday shocked Kenyans many of whom expressed their opinion about his actions through social media.
There were those who bashed the Mama hitmaker for leaving the Head of State standing while he (Bahati) occupied his seat so as to serenade the First Lady.
But in a post on his Facebook page, the singer says that his little episode happened due to his fondness to all mothers, something that got him carried away, while singing his Mama song to First Lady Mrs Margret Kenyatta.
MAMA:- This's a Song God put in my heart to appreciate the Strength of Mothers Out there & When I sing it to any Mum I find myself giving my best At times forgetting the Protocols. I WISH SHE WAS ALIVE TO SEE WHERE GOD HAS PUT ME TODAY!!!
